Lycon wax provides therapists with a variety of waxes and oils enabling them to select the correct products to suit the needs of the client’s skin & hair type. For hot waxing, therapists prep the skin by applying an essential-based oil and then choose the correct wax. The wax literally shrink wraps around the hair and does not stick to the skin. When the wax is removed it pulls from the very root of the hair follicle, removing the dermal-papilla. This will prevent hair breakage, in-grown hairs, bruises and redness and the painful sting associated with other types of wax. Amazingly, this wax will remove short, stubborn hairs as short as 1mm.
